Job Summary

The Team Leader will be responsible for directly managing and guiding a team of sales executives to achieve sales targets and expand our PCD franchise network. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can motivate their team, provide ongoing training and support, and ensure operational efficiency in line with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Supervision and Motivation:
  • Lead and supervise a team of sales executives, setting clear performance expectations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales targets and business development goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to discuss progress, address challenges, and provide mentorship.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Assist the team in identifying and recruiting new PCD franchise partners.
  • Actively participate in sales activities, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics (KPIs) and report on sales progress to the Lead Manager.
  • Training and Support:
  • Provide continuous on-the-job training to team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends.
  • Help resolve day-to-day operational issues and challenges faced by the team and franchise partners.
  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the sales team and senior management.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between the sales team, franchise partners, and internal departments like logistics and marketing.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages accountability and growth.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm), Science (B.Sc), or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry with direct experience in the PCD pharma business model.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role with a track record of motivating teams to achieve targets.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, market dynamics, and sales processes.
  • Attributes: Proactive, self-motivated, and a natural problem-solver.
