Job Description

The Team Leader – Field Operations will be responsible for supervising and guiding field staff across PAN India, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, achieving project targets, and maintaining client satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, project management skills, industry knowledge (preferably FMCG/Market Research), and the ability to deliver results under pressure. Key Responsibilities:  1. Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of field executives to achieve operational goals. 2. Plan, allocate, and monitor field activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to client requirements. 3. Track daily/weekly performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for management. 4. Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and performance feedback to field teams. 5. Act as the first point of escalation for field-related issues and resolve them effectively. 6. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and timely updates. 7. Identify process improvement areas and implement practical solutions. 8. Brief, train, and update the field force regularly to ensure quality standards, compliance, and best practices are followed. 9. Coordinate with PAN India field staff to ensure smooth execution of assignments. 10. Participate in the implementation of divisional and company-wide initiatives and strategies. 11. Ensure timely field closures by aligning operational strategies and activities. 12. Practice cost containment strategies to maintain profitability and support business growth. 13. Manage profit and loss accountability for assigned locations, ensuring optimal performance of field operations. 14. Lead communication processes across managers, field teams, and divisions to ensure clarity and alignment. Candidate Requirements:  * Action-oriented individual with proven leadership, project management, and team development skills. * Prior experience in *Market Research and/or FMCG* industry strongly preferred. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Good knowledge of field operations, reporting, and industry practices. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both clients and team members. * Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools. Qualifications & Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Operations/Marketing or related field. * 2–5 years of experience in field operations. * Experience managing geographically dispersed teams (PAN India preferred).
