About the Role

As Team Leader-Emerging Verticals - Hot Water Solutions Brand Ambassador for Jaquar, you will embody the essence of the brand across the state. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and expand the markets for all emerging verticals by implementing strategic & educational initiatives, raising awareness and converting opportunities into sales. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in team development, providing guidance and support to ensure 100 % productivity. The role is to drive the overall revenue responsibility for the emerging verticals. You will lead a team of experienced sales professionals to bring desired results in respective market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Representation
    • Represent and promote the complete range of Hot Water Solutions (HWS) products to builders, dealers, architects, and interior designers, enhancing market visibility and brand preference.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular visits, courtesy calls, and project-based interactions to strengthen brand credibility and recall.
    • Collaborate with other business divisions (OC/JW/Atelier/GIS/Hospitality) to identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities, expanding the brand footprint across customer segments.
  • Sales Leadership
    • Drive sales performance across the assigned territory by identifying potential projects and targeting key builders and architects aligned with HWS offerings.
    • Guide and support the sales generation specialist team in lead conversion and opportunity management to achieve revenue goals.
    • Plan and execute promotional activities, product showcases, and presentations highlighting ROI benefits such as cost efficiency, performance, and end-user satisfaction.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the dealer sales and field teams to ensure consistent performance and goal achievement.
    • Conduct regular reviews, provide feedback, and track team progress against defined sales and engagement objectives.
  • Educational Initiatives
    • Conduct structured product training sessions for dealer sales staff to build technical knowledge and selling skills.
    • Equip the team with updated market insights and competitive benchmarking to strengthen positioning in customer conversations.
  • Product Awareness & Market Development
    • Ensure effective in-store product displays using the Right Display Matrix in collaboration with dealers.
    • Promote new product launches across dealer counters and builder/architect networks to drive adoption and sales conversions.
    • Maintain consistent engagement with market influencers to create pull and awareness for HWS products.
  • Data & Optimization
    • Ensure real-time data updation and accuracy in the reporting system.
    • Submit weekly action plans and progress reports highlighting customer interactions, conversions, and upcoming priorities.
    • Monitor competitor activities, gather market intelligence, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement and market advantage.

Competencies
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Graduation/ Post graduation degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record of more than 12-18 years, holding leadership role, preferably in the building material, furniture or related industry for 3-5 years.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with pleasing personality, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
    • Ability to work with team and to carry out assignments to completion within the expected timeline
