Role & responsibilities

Leadership and team management

  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and company objectives.
  • Motivate, coach, and mentor team members to improve performance and hit individual targets.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one performance reviews.
  • Hire and train new sales staff.
  • Manage team absence and performance.

Sales strategy and performance

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, initiatives, and plans to drive growth.
  • Set sales goals and targets for the team and individual members.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities and report to management.
  • Ensure the sales team is up-to-date on new products, promotions, and industry trends.

Customer and stakeholder relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any customer complaints or disputes promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing) to align efforts and improve the customer experience.
