Job Title:

Tea Factory Manager – Green Tea Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Tea Factory Manager to oversee the operations of our tea manufacturing unit, with a special focus on green tea production. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tea processing, quality control, and factory management. The role requires effective leadership skills, technical knowledge of tea manufacturing processes, and the ability to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day factory operations, ensuring smooth production of green tea and other tea products.

Oversee the entire tea manufacturing process, from leaf intake to final packaging, with focus on maintaining high quality.

Monitor and control production schedules to meet output targets and delivery deadlines.

Implement strict quality control systems to ensure the final product meets both company and market standards.

Supervise, train, and motivate factory staff, including supervisors, technicians, and workers.

Ensure preventive and regular maintenance of factory machinery and equipment to reduce downtime.

Maintain inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, ensuring efficient stock management.

Drive process improvements and adopt best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the factory.

Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams for smooth coordination.

Prepare reports on production efficiency, quality performance, costs, and manpower utilization.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in tea manufacturing, especially in green tea processing.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Agriculture, Mechanical/Production Engineering, or related field.

5–10 years of experience in tea manufacturing, with at least 3 years in green tea production.

Strong technical knowledge of tea processing, fermentation, drying, and packaging methods.

Proven leadership and team management skills in a factory environment.

Good understanding of factory safety standards, labor laws, and compliance requirements.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
