Saturday Walkin Drive 24-May-25 Job Title: NetApp Storage and TSM Backup Admin Venue : Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, S1 Building Sahyadri Park 1, Plot no. 2 & 3, Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Pune - 411057 Location - Pune. Experience required : 3.5 to 8 yrs. Keywords - Netapp Storage, TSM Bacukup Must-Have Backup schedule Monitoring Experience on TSM Backup tool Strong knowledge on NetApp technology Unix OS knowledge VXVM concepts Switch Zoning/Storage configuration (Planning/Create aggregate/ Creating Vserver/Local cluster creation and Decommissioning of storage) Basic knowledge and experience of various services i.e DNS, DHCP, NTP, Kerberos, SSHD, PXE, SFTP, HTTPD etc Managing Backup failure alerts via backup operational portal. Data restore as per business requirement and defined restore SLA Working on documentation in order to streamline the existing process. Tape recall handling as per business requirement Backup Media verification Coordinating with L3 support for critical activities Restoring resources Good-to-Have Backup technology (Veritas NetBackup) Scripting, Unix SHell / Phython knowledge Trouble shooting incidents involving compute resources, network problems, remote storage related problems [SAN, NAS] Upgrades knowledge on Switch/Array and storage items Excellent communication and written skills: being able to explain technical problem to non-technical audience. Available for on-call (1 week out of every 4-6 weeks), rotated weekly within the team, and become a point person for any production issues. Technical Solution Knowledge on Hitachi and Netapp Storage Infrastructure Support Configuration & implementation of NetApp Clustered Storage Exposure on Storage Migration Using Netapp Storage Good Communication is a must as the associate will have direct communication with the SMEs most of the time. Strong technical knowledge in NetApp FAS series and NetApp AFF series Storage boxes / Hitachi SAN /Storage Experience in troubleshooting Storage Boxes and San Switches for Performance Analysis, Monitoring, handling Breakfix and Identifying RCA for critical issues. Experience in Upgrading Storage boxes and Knowledge in Pure Storage, Brocade Switch and Isilon Storage box will be an added advantage 1 SAN and NAS Administration Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues/SCSI errors/Encoding errors 2 Knowledge on Unix OS and VXVM concepts 3 Able to explain technical problem to non-technical audience.
