Job Summary:

The Recruitment Executive – Marine Division is responsible for handling end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions in the marine, shipbuilding, and offshore sectors. The role involves identifying manpower needs, sourcing qualified marine professionals, and ensuring timely onboarding to support project and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete recruitment process for shipyard, offshore, and dockyard positions (e.g., engineers, supervisors, fitters, welders, blasters, painters, riggers, etc.).
  • Coordinate with project and site managers to understand manpower requirements and timelines.
  • Source and screen candidates through job portals, marine recruitment networks, social media, and trade agencies.
  • Conduct initial interviews and technical assessments in coordination with technical teams.
  • Maintain a pipeline of marine professionals for urgent and upcoming projects.
  • Prepare and issue offer letters, joining formalities, and coordinate mobilization to sites or vessels.
  • Maintain recruitment records, candidate databases, and weekly MIS reports.
  • Ensure all recruitments comply with company standards, client requirements, and maritime labor regulations.
  • Support HR team in onboarding, induction, and manpower planning for marine projects.
  • Coordinate with external manpower agencies for bulk or overseas recruitment if required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good knowledge of marine, shipbuilding, or offshore job roles and skills.
  • Strong networking and sourcing abilities within the marine industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment tools/portals.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the marine, shipbuilding, or oil & gas industry.
  • Familiarity with shipyard operations and technical job categories is an added advantage.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
