Established in 1993, WOTR is an NGO, known for its outstanding contribution in the development field focusing primarily on climate change, watershed development, capacity building of village groups and NGOs for participatory watershed development work, climate change adaption practices, training and extension, women’s empowerment and micro credit, poverty reduction, etc. WOTR has successfully undertaken responsibilities as implementing agency, support agency, service provider for different national and international projects. Role Overview:

Systems & Network Support Engineer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for laptops, desktops, and servers including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware-related issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, productivity tools, and application issues.
  • Monitor and maintain LAN connectivity; provide support for routers, switches, and network devices.
  • Assist with cloud service administration (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS/Azure).
  • Support implementation and management of firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Ensure data safety by managing and monitoring system backups and recovery solutions.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory for hardware and software resources.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.
  • Document IT support activities, escalate complex issues, and ensure timely resolution.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network support.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, servers).
  • Fair understanding of LAN, switches, routers, and basic networking protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus, and IT security practices.
  • Understanding of backup systems and disaster recovery processes.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.


Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Certifications such as

    CompTIA A+ / N+ / CCNA / MCSA

  • Experience with

    Linux environments

    .
  • Familiarity with

    ITIL processes

    and ticketing systems.
