Job Title : System Analyst – IBM Datastage and Oracle Pl/Sql Technical consultant What You Will Do Collaborate with development and business analysis teams to understand system design and function. Develop program units in IBM Datastage and Oracle Pl/SQL. The code should meet the requirements as per system design and coding standards under minimal supervision, and perform unit testing. Support System Integration testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance testing of the Oracle Pl/Sql code and IBM DataStage jobs. Create and maintain project artifacts and effectively communicate technical impact and risks to team leads and management. Ensure the complete development activities on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Perform gap analysis and assess the impact of system software changes. Primary focus will be the development of DataStage jobs and Optimize existing DataStage jobs for performance. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing jobs in Oracle PL/SQL and IBM DataStage codes. Troubleshoot DataStage job failures and provide root cause analysis. Responsible of code version maintenance as per the company standards. Utilize the environment variables and stage variables for developing parameter-driven jobs and debugging them. Convert the complex job designs into segments and execute in job sequencer for better performance and easy maintenance. Create and maintain shared container to simplify the design of DataStage jobs, and find options for code reuse and simplification. What You Will Need Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of work experience in IBM DataStage and Oracle Pl/SQL, processes, tools, and techniques. Minimum of 4 years experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Experience with maintenance of IBM Datastage server. Knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programs. Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC). Strong analytical skills and thinking ability. Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and PL-SQL scripts, such as Procedures, Functions, etc. Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adaptable to project and task changes, ability to multitask. Ability to work within project plans and meet deadlines. Knowledge of the Healthcare domain would be a plus. Show more Show less
