Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a System Administrator based in Bhubaneswar. The System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining system infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and managing server operations. Regularly updating systems, ensuring security protocols are implemented, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with IT teams to optimize system efficiency are vital responsibilities in this role. Additionally, support for network infrastructure and software upgrades is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in configuring and managing operating systems such as Windows or Linux
• Hands-on experience with server management, virtualization technologies, cloud infrastructure, and backup solutions
• Knowledge of networking concepts including routers, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools
• Experience in troubleshooting system and hardware issues, along with efficient problem-solving skills
• Basic scripting or programming skills for automation (e.g., Python, Shell scripting)
• Strong knowledge of system security practices and monitoring tools
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator) are a strong advantage
