Job Description

WeeTech Solution Private Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware & Support Engineer to join our technical support team. This role is ideal for freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about hardware, troubleshooting, and providing efficient IT support. You will play a key role in maintaining our hardware systems, ensuring smooth operations, and providing timely assistance to internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and network devices.
  • Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and hardware upgrades.
  • Set up new user systems, configure accounts, and provide basic IT onboarding support.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets, components, and accessories.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, or replacement of hardware.
  • Document support activities, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Ensure timely response to support tickets and maintain service quality.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in hardware installation, troubleshooting, or IT support.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Knowledge of system formatting, OS installation, and driver configuration.
  • Experience with ticketing tools or helpdesk systems.
  • Familiarity with antivirus installation, system security, and backup processes.
  • Basic understanding of network troubleshooting commands and tools.
