GIS Trainee / GIS Analyst

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a GIS Trainee / GIS Analyst, located in Odisha, India. The GIS Trainee / GIS Analyst will be responsible for creating, updating, and analyzing geographic data through GIS software. Day-to-day tasks include data collection, spatial data analysis, GIS mapping, and preparing GIS reports. The role also involves supporting various projects by providing geographic insights and ensuring data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS software, tools, and technologies
• Proficiency in spatial data analysis and geographic mapping
• Data collection and data maintenance skills
• Ability to prepare and interpret GIS reports
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Experience in the IT sector or public sector projects is a plus
