Position: System Administrator
Experience: 7 to 10 years
Work Shift Timing: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST
Location: Hyderabad (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Administrator to manage and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our IT systems, networks, and hardware, providing technical support to staff and implementing IT solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory or equivalent systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and security
- Administer Office 365, email systems, and productivity tools
- Ensure proper documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and support tickets
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus solutions
- Manage IT asset inventory and procurement of new equipment/software
- Assist in planning and execution of IT projects, upgrades, and migrations
- Provide timely technical support to employees onsite and remotely
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role
- We are looking for an IT Administrator with experience in mid-sized companies, who can independently handle issues from scratch and manage end-to-end IT operations
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure), VPNs, and remote desktop tools
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, and switches
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CCNA are a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL Server, MySQL)
- Familiarity with ITIL processes
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
