Job Description

Position Summary

The Surveillance Manager is responsible for overseeing all surveillance operations to ensure safety, security, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing a team of surveillance officers, monitoring activities, investigating incidents, and preparing detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the surveillance department.
  • Monitor all surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
  • Develop, implement, and update surveillance policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, policy violations, theft, fraud, or safety breaches.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and regulatory agencies when required.
  • Train and mentor surveillance staff to ensure high standards of vigilance and professionalism.
  • Review surveillance footage regularly to ensure system functionality and coverage.
  • Prepare and submit detailed incident and compliance reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, industry regulations, and company security standards.
  • Plan and oversee upgrades to surveillance systems and related technology.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in surveillance or security operations, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and security protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Science City, Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • 6 months: 2 years (Preferred)
