Role & responsibilities

1. Strategic Supply Chain Planning

Design and execute end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.

Forecast demand, capacity, and inventory requirements to support business growth.

Evaluate and implement supply chain technologies for process improvement and visibility.

2. Procurement & Supplier Management

Develop sourcing strategies and manage key supplier relationships.

Ensure supplier compliance with quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Drive vendor development and negotiations for cost-effective procurement.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Management

Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and cost.

Implement lean inventory practices.

Oversee warehouse operations, including space optimization, safety, and process efficiency.

4. Logistics & Distribution

Manage inbound and outbound logistics for timely and cost-efficient delivery.

Partner with logistics providers to ensure SLA adherence and service reliability.

Optimize transportation networks and reduce freight costs.

5. Demand & Supply Planning

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Production to create accurate forecasts.

Balance supply with demand fluctuations and market changes.

Utilize planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis) for real-time insights.

6. Cost Optimization & Budget Control

Lead cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain.

Manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost control without compromising quality.

Identify opportunities for automation, process redesign, and vendor consolidation.

7. Risk Management & Compliance

Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with international trade laws, safety regulations, and ESG requirements.

Implement robust SOPs and internal controls.

8. Team Leadership & Development

Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team.

Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and support professional development.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

9. Sustainability & ESG Initiatives

Drive sustainability in sourcing, packaging, and logistics.

Partner with vendors on reducing carbon footprint and waste.

Align supply chain strategies with corporate ESG goals.
