Job Title: Electrical Substation Design Engineer (132/220 kV)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Substation Design Engineer with proven expertise in the design and engineering of 132 kV and 220 kV substations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end design activities, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed design drawings, layouts, and schematics for 132/220 kV substations (AIS/GIS).
• Carry out electrical calculations for equipment sizing, fault level analysis, and protection coordination.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and cable routing layouts.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and protection teams to ensure integrated substation design.
• Review vendor drawings and technical documents to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and review BOQ, technical specifications, and tender documents.
• Provide technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards (IS, IEC, IEEE).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design (132/220 kV).
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or other design tools.
• Strong understanding of grid codes, protection systems, and utility interfaces.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working with transmission utilities or EPC contractors.
• Knowledge of renewable energy grid integration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
