Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineering Intern role based in Mumbai (Vileparle East, Chakala area). The intern will assist in the analysis and design of structural steel, concrete, and PSC components, support the preparation of detailed project drawings and reports, and contribute to schematic planning and risk management strategies. Additionally, responsibilities include coordinating with internal departments, assisting with value engineering, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The intern is expected to participate in reviews of third-party designs and assist in managing project execution in collaboration with site teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Structural Design, including expertise in steel structures, concrete structures, and PSC structures.
• Skills in Drafting and Detailing, including preparation of drawings, GADs, and detailed GFCs for execution.
• Familiarity with MORTH, IRC, and IS codes & standards, and experience in preparing tender, bid, and specification documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct schematic planning and risk-free execution of structures.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities for coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or pursuing the same) and knowledge of specialized software for structural design and drafting.
• Passion for learning and contributing to high-impact infrastructure projects.
