Role Overview


GCQ is expanding its B2B hiring and staffing vertical to build long-term partnerships with recruitment firms, staffing agencies, and hiring companies.


As the Strategic Partnerships Manager – Hiring & Staffing, you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling hiring partnerships that convert GCQ’s trained, job-ready talent into consistent placement outcomes and revenue.


This is a high-ownership role for someone who understands B2B partnerships, recruitment economics, and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities1. Build & Manage B2B Hiring Partnerships


  • Identify, approach, and onboard recruitment firms, staffing partners, and direct employers
  • Establish partnership structures including pilot mandates, revenue-share, success-fee, and volume hiring models
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all hiring partners

2. Drive Commercial Outcomes


  • Negotiate and finalize commercial terms such as placement fees, payout timelines, and replacement clauses
  • Ensure partnerships translate into successful joins and recurring revenue
  • Track and improve closure rates, joining ratios, and partner retention

3. Align Talent Supply with Market Demand


  • Work closely with training, counselling, and operations teams to align candidate readiness with active hiring requirements
  • Ensure only screened, interview-ready candidates are shared with partners
  • Reduce dropouts and interview failures through structured coordination

4. Build Long-Term Strategic Relationships


  • Develop trusted relationships with Founders, Heads of Delivery, Talent Acquisition Managers, and Account Leads
  • Position GCQ as a reliable talent supply partner, not a transactional vendor
  • Drive repeat mandates and multi-role partnerships

5. Create Structure & Playbooks


  • Design outreach strategies, pitch frameworks, and partner onboarding processes
  • Maintain a clear pipeline of partners, mandates, and placements
  • Provide insights and feedback to leadership on hiring trends and partnership performance

Success Metrics (KPIs)


  • Number of active hiring partners
  • Successful placements per month
  • Revenue generated from partnerships
  • Partner retention and repeat mandates
  • Reduction in candidate dropouts

Who We’re Looking ForMust-Have Qualifications


  • 4–8 years of experience in B2B partnerships, staffing, recruitment sales, or HR services
  • Proven experience working with recruitment firms or hiring organizations
  • Strong negotiation and commercial closure skills
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders and long-term relationships
  • Self-driven, ownership-oriented mindset
