About the Role

Partnerships Associates

Key ResponsibilitiesOutreach & Relationship Building

  • Visit and engage with schools, coaching classes, and counselors in your assigned region.
  • Build long-term relationships with principals, teachers, and other decision-makers.
  • Represent upGrad SOT at education fairs, seminars, and workshops to enhance visibility.

Lead Generation

  • Drive student and parent awareness through presentations, info sessions, and events.
  • Capture and qualify leads from schools, coaching networks, and career fairs.
  • Ensure warm leads are handed over seamlessly to the admissions team for follow-up.

Brand Building

  • Consistently project a professional, trustworthy, and aspirational image of upGrad SOT.
  • Share program details clearly with stakeholders and address their initial queries.
  • Support the Zonal Head in executing regional brand-building initiatives.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, leads generated, and event participation.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Zonal Head on progress against targets.
  • Coordinate with the central marketing and admissions teams for aligned messaging.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in

    field sales, partnerships, or business development

    (education/edtech preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Self-driven with a willingness to travel extensively in the assigned zone.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Passion for education and the ability to represent a mission-driven institution.

  • Consistent achievement of outreach and warm lead generation targets.
  • Strong presence of upGrad SOT across schools, coaching centers, and education events.
  • Positive feedback from principals, counselors, and fair organizers.
  • A reliable pipeline of qualified leads feeding into admissions conversions.
