Currently the team plays a key role in the Finance Department in ensuring that the integrity of data within the General Ledger (GL) is maintained to the highest degree. The team undertakes daily accounting interface and GL controls. The objectives are to apply financial controls to ensure the consistency of data between the GL and the bank's administration systems, to monitor accounts in the GL (ensuring they are correctly used).
