Job Description

As a Store Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement, vendor relationships, inventory control, and storage operations efficiently. Your strong organizational skills and negotiation abilities will be key in ensuring the smooth functioning of the store. Your proficiency in inventory management systems will also be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Vendor Management: - Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. - Conduct periodic evaluations of vendor performance to ensure quality product delivery. - Procurement & Storage Strategies: - Lead discussions on procurement and storage strategies. - Coordinate with internal teams to define specifications and storage requirements. - Sourcing & Inventory Management: - Identify and onboard potential suppliers as per project needs. - Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and storage conditions. - Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to ensure the availability of essential items. - Implement strategies for store space optimization and efficient material handling. - Store Coordination & Stock Audit: - Oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient inventory management. - Conduct regular stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies. - Implement corrective actions based on stock audit findings. - Purchase Order Execution & Follow-Up: - Oversee the preparation, processing, and monitoring of purchase orders. - Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any delays. - Ensure accurate deliveries and promptly address discrepancies. - Reporting & Documentation: - Prepare and maintain accurate reports on procurement, inventory, and stock movements. - Maintain comprehensive records of purchasing and storage activities. - Ensure all documentation aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements. - Negotiation & Market Analysis: - Apply negotiation strategies to secure favorable terms with vendors. - Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Quality Assurance: - Ensure that procured items meet company quality standards. - Collaborate with the Quality Control department for product evaluations. - Cross-Departmental Collaboration: - Work closely with finance, logistics, and operations teams to optimize purchasing and storage processes. Requirements: - Education: B.Com + MBA (Mandatory) - Experience: Minimum 1 year in Logistics or a Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in MS Excel - Knowledge of Tally (Preferred) Salary: - 30,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
