Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our salon. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for beauty and wellness, and the ability to deliver an exceptional client experience. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring operational excellence, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day salon operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage salon inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Monitor equipment and facilities, scheduling maintenance or repairs as required.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate salon staff including stylists, receptionists, and assistants.
  • Schedule shifts and manage time-off requests to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on service excellence and accountability.

Customer Service

  • Ensure every client receives an exceptional salon experience.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Promote client retention through loyalty programs and quality service.

Sales & Marketing

  • Meet or exceed sales and profitability targets.
  • Upsell salon services and retail products effectively.
  • Implement marketing strategies, promotions, and social media engagement to grow client base.

Financial & Administrative

  • Manage cash handling and daily financial reporting.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales, staffing, and expenses.
  • Work with the owner to set financial goals and monitor performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a salon manager, assistant manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of salon services, trends, and operations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Basic understanding of financial reports and inventory systems.
  • Proficient with salon management software and POS systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in cosmetology or related beauty field (not required but a plus).
  • Experience in retail sales or business management.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software and social media platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
