Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate records of medicines, consumables, and surgical supplies used in hair transplant procedures.
  • Regularly monitor and update stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, ensuring quality and quantity as per purchase orders.
  • Implement proper storage and labeling systems for medicines and consumables.
  • Track expiry dates of all medicines and ensure timely replacement or disposal of expired stock.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly stock reports to the management.

2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

  • Raise purchase requests based on consumption trends and upcoming requirements.
  • Maintain good relationships with approved suppliers and negotiate for best pricing and quality.
  • Ensure all procurement is done as per company policy and approved vendor list.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain proper documentation for purchase, issue, and consumption of medical stock.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinic standards for medicine storage and usage.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.

4. Operational Support

  • Support the medical and surgical teams by ensuring availability of all required materials before procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining hygiene and safety standards within the store area.
  • Collaborate with clinic administration to forecast future requirements based on appointment and procedure schedules.

5. General Administration Tasks

  • Supervise housekeeping and utility stock (e.g., gloves, masks, cleaning materials).
  • Handle inward and outward registers for all consumables and equipment.
  • Participate in periodic audits and inventory reconciliations.
  • Train support staff in inventory handling and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in pharmacy, supply chain, or healthcare management).
  • 2–4 years of experience in store or inventory management, preferably in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setup.
  • Strong knowledge of medicine handling and stock management practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
