Job Description: Store Manager
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- 1. Take a Store Walk every single day before Store opening
- 2. Ensure proper upkeep of the Store in terms of cleanliness, hygiene, visual merchandizing as per guidelines
- 3. Ensure daily dusting of all counters and proper placement of products before customers walk in at the Store
- 4. Conduct daily briefings with team to inform them of previous day performance, targets, appreciate staff who has done well as guide those that need help. Brief staff on specific pointers received from Central team
- 5. Oversee Admin and Cashier to ensure that all defined Admin policies and processes are followed properly and that no malpractice is happening at the Store
- 6. Approve expenses for ensuring Store upkeep
- 7. Approve leave of staff while ensuring adequate staffing at all times
- 8. Oversee deep cleaning of products and communicate to Warehousing for soiled merchandize
- 9. Lead stock taking activity for the Store as per defined guidelines
- 10. Engage in conversation with all customers walking in to the Store to understand their feedback, especially the non-buying customers
- 11. Monitor Google reviews on a regular basis and connect with customers giving a negative review to resolve any unattended issues / apologize in case of any error or inconvenience
- 12. Monitor inventory on a regular basis. Identify pieces to be proposed for FT and push for sales of these pieces to ensure liquidation of old inventory
- 13. Monitor key metrics of the Store on a daily basis – Sales, FT Sales, Average Selling Price counter-wise, Average Bill Value, Foot fall, Conversion, Items per bill, etc.
- 14. Support team in conversion of customers, especially high value
- 15. Conduct regular trainings and briefings of the team on subjects relevant to the Store and business
- 16. Monitor employee discipline and conduct one on one meetings with employees who are engage in indiscipline on a repeated basis. Escalate cases to HR for further action
- 17. Induct new staff joining the Store on their job responsibilities and facilitate mingling of the new team members with the existing staff
- 18. Undergo audit as per process, understand NCs and take corrective actions to ensure no repeat observations on the same points
- 19. Ensure smooth execution of customized orders through Floor Managers
- 20. Participate in monthly reviews to present Store performance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
