Stock Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Manager for our designer retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end inventory operations, maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating with the sales and purchase teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day stock management using inventory software and computer systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely records of stock inward, outward, and transfers.
• Update daily stock entries using inventory management or stock software.
• Ensure proper tagging, coding, and storage of all merchandise.
• Monitor stock levels and plan timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with the sales team to reconcile sold items with stock records.
• Conduct regular physical stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports using Excel.
• Maintain vendor-wise and item-wise stock data.
• Prevent stock loss, damage, or pilferage through strict inventory controls.
• Support store operations by ensuring accurate stock availability for sales and display.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in stock or inventory management (retail/designer store preferred).
• Strong computer knowledge, including MS Excel, MS Word, and basic email handling.
• Proficiency in Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and stock reconciliation formats.
• Working knowledge of inventory/stock management software.
• Ability to prepare and analyze stock reports.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fashion, apparel, or designer lifestyle stores.
• Familiarity with barcode systems and SKU management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
