The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in aerospace procurement, with a deep understanding of material specifications, treatment processes, and supply chain management. Quote Comparison & Cost Analysis: Prepare detailed cost comparisons in Excel, analyzing price, lead time, supplier reliability, and quality standards. Use Power BI and Power Query for advanced data visualization and insights. Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations and strategic sourcing. 3 . Aerospace Treatment Processes & Supplier Sourcing: Ensure awareness of aerospace treatment specifications (e.g., heat treatment, anodizing, plating, passivation, shot peening, etc.). Obtain competitive quotes for material treatments and ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards. Evaluate supplier capabilities for material processing and treatments. 4. Procurement of Aerospace General Supplies (AGS): Source bought-out AGS components with aerospace-grade specifications such as fasteners, bearings, fittings, and other essential components. Obtain quotes and conduct comparative analysis for procurement decision-making. Ensure AGS components meet OEM and aerospace certification requirements. 5. Negotiation & Supplier Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers for raw materials, treatments, and AGS procurement. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Implement long-term contracts and supplier agreements for optimized supply chain efficiency. 6. Experience in CNC Machining Procurement: Must have prior experience working in CNC machining purchase environments. Knowledge of machined aerospace components, precision tolerances, and manufacturing processes. Ensure procurement aligns with CNC machining needs for aerospace applications. 7. Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Query for data management, procurement analysis, and reporting. Utilize data-driven insights for better forecasting, demand management, and cost optimization. Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) with a purchase/procurement background.
