Role Overview

State Head for Uttar Pradesh

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Ownership:

    Take full accountability for the

    sales performance of ZXPay across Uttar Pradesh

    .
  • Team Management:

    Lead and mentor a team of

    Area Sales Managers (ASMs)

    and ensure efficient territory-wise coverage.
  • Retailer & Distributor Onboarding:

    Aggressively grow the number of active retailers and distributors in assigned districts.
  • Performance Monitoring:

    Track sales KPIs, conduct regular reviews, and drive performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting systems.
  • Regional Strategy Execution:

    Implement the company’s

    sales strategy at the state level

    , customize plans as per district-specific potential.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Continuously gather market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to help shape state-level tactics.
  • Compliance & Activation:

    Ensure active usage of services like DMT, AePS, QR withdrawal, MATM, and bill payment among onboarded partners.
  • Field Leadership:

    Conduct regular market visits, ASM meetings, and spot checks to ensure ground-level discipline and productivity.
  • Training & Development:

    Build a strong sales culture through training sessions, product refreshers, and field coaching.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience:

    5 to 10 years in

    channel-based sales

    in the

    Fintech / Payments / Micro ATM / AePS / DMT / Digital Recharge / Financial Inclusion

    space.
  • Leadership Capability:

    Must have experience managing

    multi-city teams

    (preferably at least 4-6 districts or zones).
  • Sales-Driven:

    Must have a strong target-oriented approach and ability to scale sales volume rapidly.
  • Process & Tech-Oriented:

    Comfortable with dashboards, CRM tools, MIS reports, and app-based sales platforms.
  • Language Proficiency:

    Fluency in Hindi is mandatory; basic English communication is preferred.
  • Travel:

    Willingness to travel extensively within Uttar Pradesh.
