Job Purpose/ Summary Responsible to drive sales and expansion of new territory. Job Title SSH -Area Sales officer - Sales & Distribution-Domestic Business Job Description As an Assistant Manager in the Sales & Distribution department, you will be responsible for driving sales and distribution for the domestic business. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of the domestic trade and the technical aspects of our products and processes. Your role will involve managing sales, conducting market and competitive intelligence, and utilizing your analytical skills to drive business growth. Principal Accountabilities Drive Sales: You will be responsible for achieving sales targets and objectives for the assigned territory. This includes identifying potential business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring sales growth. Market & Competitive Intelligence: You will be expected to gather and analyze market and competitive intelligence to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive activities. This information should be used to inform sales strategies and business decisions. Customer Relationship Management: You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This includes understanding their needs, providing excellent service, and resolving any issues or concerns. Negotiation and Influencing: You will be expected to negotiate with customers and stakeholders to secure sales and achieve business objectives. This includes influencing decision-makers and persuading them to choose our products and services. Networking: You will be expected to build and maintain a strong professional network. This includes attending industry events, building relationships with key stakeholders, and leveraging these relationships to drive business growth. People Excellence: You will be responsible for leading and managing a team. This includes setting performance expectations, providing feedback and coaching, and ensuring team members are motivated and engaged. Entrepreneurship: You will be expected to think and act like an entrepreneur. This includes identifying new business opportunities, taking calculated risks, and driving innovation and change. Technical Knowhow: You will be expected to have a deep understanding of our products and processes. This includes staying up-to-date with the latest product developments and understanding how to effectively sell and distribute these products.
