Job Description

Job Summary

The Sr. Test Analyst role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products specifically focusing on EDI standards and Facets Finance. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute test plans. This position requires a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in relevant technical skills.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality and compliance with EDI standards.
Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective test scenarios.
Utilize expertise in Facets Finance to validate financial transactions and processes within the software.
Ensure test coverage across all functional areas focusing on critical business processes.
Document and report test findings providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Participate in test automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
Work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution of defects and issues.
Monitor and track test progress ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
Provide input on test environment setup and configuration to optimize testing conditions.
Engage in peer reviews of test cases and scripts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support user acceptance testing by coordinating with business users and validating outcomes.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

Possess strong knowledge of EDI standards and their application in software testing.
Demonstrate proficiency in Facets Finance with a focus on financial transaction validation.
Have experience in the healthcare payer domain understanding industry-specific requirements.
Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues.
Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model maintaining productivity and communication.
Display strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and documentation.
Hold a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.

Certifications Required

ISTQB Certified Tester EDI Professional Certification
