Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Territory Sales Manager with extensive experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector to lead sales operations within a designated territory. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and expanding market share for our portfolio of consumer products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales strategy execution, team leadership, and achieving targets in a competitive FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve territory-specific revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and training to ensure high productivity and morale.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and recommend product positioning strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Oversee inventory management, promotional activities, and merchandising efforts to optimize product visibility and sales.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to align on objectives and resolve operational challenges.
  • Travel within the territory as needed to conduct field visits, client meetings, and trade events.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in territory management, achieving or exceeding sales quotas in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels, retail dynamics, and consumer goods market.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹568,005.95 - ₹776,954.50 per year
