Job Description: Senior Store Officer The Senior Store Officer will be responsible for managing procurement, vendor relationships, inventory control, and ensuring efficient and optimized storage operations. The role demands excellent organizational, negotiation, and inventory management skills, along with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Candidates must have a strong background in procurement and store management practices. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Conduct periodic evaluations of vendor performance to ensure the quality and reliability of product deliveries. Procurement & Storage Strategies: Lead and implement effective procurement and storage strategies. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define material specifications and storage requirements. Sourcing & Inventory Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers according to project and operational needs. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and storage conditions. Maintain optimal stock levels to ensure material availability. Implement store space optimization strategies for efficient material handling. Store Coordination & Stock Audit: Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure robust inventory management. Conduct regular stock audits, address inventory discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Purchase Order Execution & Follow-Up: Manage the preparation, processing, and monitoring of purchase orders. Ensure timely supplier follow-ups and delivery coordination. Verify delivery accuracy and manage any issues related to discrepancies. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, stock levels, and store movements. Maintain proper documentation in line with company policies and regulatory standards. Negotiation & Market Analysis: Apply effective negotiation techniques to secure cost-efficient terms with vendors. Monitor market trends to identify sourcing and cost-saving opportunities. Quality Assurance: Ensure all incoming materials meet company quality standards. Coordinate with the Quality Control team for material inspections and approvals. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, logistics, and operations teams to streamline purchasing and store management processes. Requirements: Education: Any Bachelor's Degree (B.Com, BBA, B.Tech, etc.) Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory management, or store operations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledge of Tally (Preferred). Salary: ₹30,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
