Manufacturing Industry Profile - Sr Store Officer Qualification - Any Graduate Experience - Minimum 10 years in a manufacturing industry (Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or any inventory management software). Salary - Upto - 40K In Hand + Food & Accommodation Location - Mundra Job Summary: The Senior Store Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely material handling, and effective coordination with internal departments and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, deep knowledge of storekeeping and inventory systems, and experience in managing large-scale stores in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and control the overall store operations including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials. * Maintain accurate stock levels through regular inventory audits and reconciliations. * Ensure all store activities comply with company policies and safety regulations. * Manage physical inventory and cycle counting programs; resolve discrepancies. * Implement and maintain 5S and lean inventory practices in the store. * Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality departments for smooth flow of materials. * Monitor stock movement, prepare MIS reports, and support management in planning and forecasting. * Ensure proper documentation (GRNs, material issue slips, return notes, etc.). * Optimize space utilization and material handling systems for efficiency. * Lead, train, and supervise junior store staff and ensure high team performance. * Handle obsolete, non-moving, or slow-moving inventory efficiently. * Coordinate dispatches and logistics for inward/outward movements when required.
