Sr. Software Engineer

Job Summary SAP ABAP Developer will: ¿ Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, documents and maintains applications systems, working on moderately complex to highly complex work tasks or project assignments. ¿ Gathers, analyzes and translates business and non functional requirements into a solution design. May lead meetings to define business requirements and technical solutions. Manages tasks, estimates resources, establishes timelines and prioritizes work. ¿ Designs, develops to specifications and maintains application code in accordance with the current development and project management methodologies and practices. ¿ Manages work assignments according to current project methodologies or as directed. ¿ Prepares required documentation for the portion of work assigned. ¿ Consults with Quality Assurance and business analysts in the development and execution of test plans. ¿ Provides technical assistance and problem resolution for assigned systems. Resolves production support problems in accordance with problem management policies and procedures. Resolves production support incidents in accordance with incident management policies and procedures. Coordinates with vendors for problem resolution and change requests. ¿ Ensures that applications changes follow change management policies and procedures. ¿ Provides technical guidance to ensure that installed systems are working effectively and that proposed systems will meet organization¿s future needs. ¿ Prepares periodic and ad hoc status reports for each assignment for department manager and project manager. ¿ Identifies and provides recommendations for system process improvements. ¿ May act as a source for direction, training and guidance for less experienced departmental staff. ABAP Developer experience ¿ Bachelor¿s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience. ¿ 5+ years relevant implementation / enhancement in the field of SAP S4 or SAP ECC. ¿ Ability to apply complex principles, theories and concepts of the technical discipline and provide solutions to a wide range of complex tasks, projects and problems ¿ Advanced knowledge and proficiency with systems, processes and development, or technical disciplines in a specific field. ¿ Ability to participate in on call rotation for 24x7 service requirement. ¿ Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously. ¿ In depth knowledge of line of technical solutions for line of business supported. ¿ Experience creating and executing implementation strategies for complex systems. ¿ Ability in all phases of technical writing for information or infrastructure systems. ¿ SAP S4/Fiori/CAR understanding on CAR: POSDTA, and S4: MM, IM, SD, FI ¿ Facilitate translation of functional requirements to high level technical scope and design. Create supporting technical documents, provide development estimates, initial risk and mitigation recommendations. ¿ Accountable for interface design, data flow diagrams, RICEF objects, CAR Configurations, and coordinating SLT enablement to CAR with the support of the SAP BASIS team ¿ Demonstrate subject matter expertise in SAP CAR and integrating with other SAP Modules, Knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies. ¿ Track record of full project lifecycle and development activities ¿ Ability to write technical specifications ¿ Ability to provide programming for complex business scenarios with RICEF objects in all the SAP Business modules ¿ Work independently and effectively, document programs and provide necessary system user training with comprehensive specifications, documentation, test documents, etc¿ ¿ Troubleshoot critical elements of business application problems in SAP ECC/S4/CAR modules, develop and evaluate SAP solutions to meet the business requirements and to apply OSS notes as needed ¿ Troubleshooting interface related issues with external systems and other SAP systems like SAP PI via E Show more Show less
