Performance & Security: Performance Optimization: Experience with optimizing application performance, including JVM tuning, caching strategies, and improving query performance in databases. Security Best Practices: Strong understanding of security best practices for both front-end and back-end, including secure coding, protecting APIs, and using libraries like Spring Security for authentication and authorization. Soft Skills: Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of leading teams in delivering complex, high-quality software solutions. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with global teams and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving & Innovation: Ability to approach problems creatively and analytically, ensuring continuous improvements in the software development lifecycle. Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in using tools like JIRA and Teams to manage Agile workflows and communicate effectively across global teams. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, actively participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and iterative development cycles. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Have an intense passion for building software and mentoring their teams. Are very strong in both design and implementation at an enterprise level. 10 - 15 years of professional experience with the above-mentioned tech stack. Are in-tune with high performance and high availability design/programming. Have experience in security best practices for software and data platforms. Design 'perfect-fit' solutions with engineering teams and business units to drive business growth and customer delight. Enjoy solving problems through the entire application stack. Are interested and capable of learning other programming languages as needed.
