Senior Engineer (Offshore)

🔧 Role Overview

• Initial scope

  : Handle high-volume operational/admin tasks in ServiceNow, Monday.com, PagerDuty, and Atlassian tools (onboarding/offboarding, permissions, ticket triage, basic admin).

• Growth path

  : Take on ServiceNow development (catalog items, workflows), bi-weekly deployments, and advanced automation/integration work.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance ServiceNow architecture & integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.)
• Develop scripts in

  JavaScript, GlideScript, Groovy

  ; use JQL for Atlassian reporting
• Implement workflows via ServiceNow Flow Designer & Workflow Editor
• Administer users, licenses, and access for multiple IT service platforms
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve performance, stability, and security
• Collaborate with BA, architects, and engineers; participate in code reviews & production support

✅ Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years’ software development experience

  with strong ServiceNow expertise
• Installation, configuration, development & admin in ServiceNow + some JIRA/Confluence
• API integrations & scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, Groovy)
• Atlassian Query Language (JQL) proficiency
• User management, permissions, and app/plugin management
• Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Agile/Scrum experience, version control (Git), production-ready code & testing best practices
• Security-first approach in engineering work
