As a Senior Tools Developer on the Common Engineering Tools Team, you will be responsible for designing, and developing enhancements to in-house tools used globally by our Engineering staff. In addition, you will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of these tools.
- Design, implement& test new features for Common Engineering tools.
- Create training material and system documentation.
- Install new systems and new releases into test and production environments.
Mandatory:
- A bachelor’s degree software engineering, computer science or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, most of which is relevant to the position.
- Excellent knowledge of one of the following development stacks.
- Java, Spring,
- JavaScript (React), jQuery, bootstrap
- Application servers (Apache, Tomcat etc.)
- Relational database modeling and schema design
- Experience with PostgreSQL writing procedures and functions
- Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux.
- Very good communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
Preferred:
- Experience with more than one of the development stacks mentioned previously.
- Very good knowledge of VMware and other virtualization platforms.
- Self-motivated and self-confident.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
- Good analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience in collaborating with international teams.
