Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY

Sales Executive front Office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead/Enquiry Processing:

Receive and process customer Inquiries via phone, email, or Customer Portal. Ensure accuracy in product codes, quantities, pricing & offer submission within deadline including negotiation.

  • Sales & Purchase Order Processing:

    Receive and process orders via phone, email, or in-person. Ensure accuracy in product codes, quantities, pricing and negotiations while placing purchase orders.
  • Customer Support:

    Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotations, follow up on orders, and resolve issues related to delivery, billing, or product availability.
  • Documentation & Records:

    Maintain sales records, invoices, delivery challans, and other documentation. Ensure proper filing and data entry in ERP or accounting software.
  • Inventory Coordination:

    Coordinate with the warehouse or store team to check stock availability and update customers accordingly.
  • Sales Coordination:

    Support field sales executives with lead tracking, follow-ups, and scheduling meetings or calls.
  • Reporting:

    Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and assist in analyzing sales trends and performance.
  • Vendor Communication:

    Liaise with suppliers for product availability, pricing updates, and delivery timelines.
  • Managing back-office Team

Getting the work done through teammates within timeline.

Communication skills

    • Clear verbal and written communication (English & Hindi)

Customer Service

    • Professional behavior at the front desk
    • Understanding customer needs and offering suitable products
    • Ability to handle queries, complaints, and follow-ups effectively

Computer Proficiency

    • MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • ERP, Tally software
    • Basic Mathematical calculation skill

Team Coordination

    • Working closely with back office, warehouse, and field sales teams
    • Sharing customer feedback and sales leads

Time Management

    • Prioritizing tasks efficiently
    • Ensuring timely follow-ups and order processing

Problem Solving

    • Quick thinking to resolve customer issues or delays
    • Escalating matters when necessary
