Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide QA team members to improve testing skills and overall quality output.
• Review test plans, cases, scripts, and results prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with the QA Lead / Project Lead to address queries, align testing efforts, and resolve blockers.
• Define and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts) to ensure seamless test coverage.
• Provide feedback and support to team members to help them grow in technical and professional areas.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing approaches, tools, and frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in a senior or mentoring role.
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing QA work and providing constructive feedback.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
