Sr. QA

This position of Sr. QA in Pune involves providing support to an IT organization for the development, implementation, and support of complex systems adhering to Floor & Decors systems standards. The role requires creating and executing quality assurance frameworks, tools, and practices to enhance product deployments and customer satisfaction. To be eligible for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or relevant experience equivalent to the required education. A minimum of four to seven years of software quality assurance experience is necessary, along with 3+ years of software quality assurance automation experience. Proficiency in QA automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Robot Framework is essential. Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing tools is also required. The ideal candidate should be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously at various development and testing stages. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications for this position include expertise in writing test plans and test cases across multiple projects, proficiency in programming languages like Java and Python, and experience in automated testing using Robot Framework. Additionally, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AI/ML-based QA enhancements, Agile methodologies, cross OS/browser and multi-device testing, API testing tools, database testing, and automated testing artifacts is preferred. The essential functions of this role include assisting in the development and management of automation frameworks, mentoring team members on tools and processes, coordinating multiple projects for the QA group, recommending automated test approaches, ensuring QA standards are maintained, and creating and executing manual and automated test plans. The Sr. QA is also responsible for reviewing test results, documenting defects, communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and ensuring that products meet defined requirements for usability and performance. It is crucial for the candidate to demonstrate competence with testing tools, processes, and standards and apply them effectively to projects.
