QA Automation with Playwright & JavaScript: Strong knowledge of Playwright for WEB and API automation testing, using JavaScript to write robust, maintainable, and scalable test scripts. API Testing: Expertise in API Testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI for verifying RESTful and SOAP APIs. Proficient in automating API test cases and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. BDD/TDD Frameworks: Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) using frameworks like Cucumber . Hands-on knowledge of Playwright’s integration with BDD frameworks. CI/CD & Jenkins: Strong experience with CI/CD tools and processes, particularly Jenkins for automating build, deployment, and testing. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Kubernetes for containerized environments. DevOps & Automation Integration: Expertise in integrating Playwright , API Testing , and automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and containerized environments like Kubernetes . Accessibility Testing: Proficient in Accessibility Testing (WCAG, ARIA) using tools such as axe-core , Pa11y , or Playwright’s built-in accessibility audits. STLC Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) , including planning, test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting. Parallel Execution & Grid Setup: Familiar with parallel test execution using Playwright , browser grid setup (via Docker , Kubernetes ), and cloud services like BrowserStack or LambdaTest . Version Control & Collaboration: Experienced with version control systems like Git for source code management and team collaboration. AI in Testing: Understanding of how AI can be applied in automation testing, including tools like Test.ai and Applitools for visual testing and intelligent test script generation. Experience Level: 2-4 years with hands-on expertise in all above-mentioned technologies and methodologies. Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Automated Testing: Design, develop, and execute Playwright test cases using JavaScript for both web and API automation to ensure high-quality product delivery. Test Data & Environments: Manage test data and environments, integrating AI-driven tools to enhance automation efficiency. Reporting & Metrics: Generate daily reports and monthly metrics to track test progress and effectiveness for web and API tests. Collaboration: Work with Agile teams , developers, and business analysts to align automation efforts with product requirements. Review & Feedback: Review requirements and provide feedback to ensure test coverage and alignment with technical specifications. Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or Azure DevOps until resolution. CI/CD Integration: Integrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins , Kubernetes ) for continuous testing. API Testing: Validate API endpoints and responses using Playwright and tools like Postman . Accessibility Testing: Conduct accessibility testing using Playwright and tools like axe-core to ensure WCAG compliance.
