Senior Merchandiser - Product Development (Home Category)

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in
Fashion/Textile/Product Design, Merchandising
, or a related field
5–10 years of experience
in
home product development & merchandising
(soft furnishings, décor, bedding, kitchen & tableware, etc.)
Strong experience in
end-to-end product lifecycle management
– design collaboration, sampling, costing, production & delivery
Proven expertise in
vendor sourcing, development, negotiation, and management
Solid understanding of
materials, manufacturing processes, quality standards, and compliance
for home products
Hands-on experience in
sampling coordination, approvals, and bulk execution
Ability to contribute to
design ideation, trend research, and category development
Strong
commercial acumen
, costing & margin understanding
Excellent
communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination
skills
Proficient in
MS Excel and PLM/ERP systems
