Senior Finance Manager

Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounts operations. The ideal candidate must have a proven background in fundraising, financial operations, taxation, accounting, MIS reporting, and end-to-end financial control.

Experience in the Alco-Bev or Liquor domain is mandatory. Candidates from other industries will not be considered.

The role requires strong expertise in debt and equity fundraising, extensive knowledge of finance operations, and established networks with venture capital (VC) and private equity firms. Leadership and people management skills are critical for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage GST, VAT, TDS, PF, ESI filings, and assessments across multiple states.
• Ensure timely compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.
• Handle bookkeeping, accounting entries, and financial reporting in Tally.
• Finalize Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and support internal & statutory audits.
• Prepare and analyse MIS reports (Contribution, Revenue, Liability Schedules, etc.).
• Approve bills and verify documents such as PI, PO, LR, GR, tax invoices, quotations, etc.
• Reconcile sundry creditor accounts and manage vendor-related matters.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), fund flow, and payroll.
• Manage direct & indirect taxation, commercial taxes, and compliance.
• Coordinate third-party bill discounting and fundraising activities.
• Drive debt and equity fundraising, leveraging networks with VCs and private equity firms.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team across locations.
• Liaise with government tax departments, banks, investors, and auditors.
• Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fundraising (debt & equity), financial operations, and investor relations.
• Strong access to and networks within VCs and private equity firms.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
• Deep knowledge of account reconciliation, balance sheet finalisation, P&L, MIS, and financial reporting.
• Comprehensive understanding of GST, TDS, VAT, Excise, Service Tax, and Commercial Tax.
• Proficiency in Tally; knowledge of Zoho is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
