Job Title: Maintenance Lead (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics) Experience: 10–20 Years Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering Industry Preference: Engineering/Manufacturing/Metal Cutting Industry Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Leader to manage plant maintenance operations, support production by ensuring machine and facility uptime, optimize spare parts consumption, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. This role demands strong leadership, technical acumen, and cost-conscious decision-making in alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the maintenance team to ensure machine and facility availability for smooth plant operations. Drive improvements in cycle time and spare part consumption on PCR line items. Monitor and improve RTY (Rolled Through Yield) in alignment with organizational targets. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Handle electrical/electronic breakdowns and troubleshooting activities. Collaborate on safety audits and manage third-party certifications with competent authorities. Manage electrical team shifts and ensure resource optimization. Support new expansion projects from planning to execution. Train and upskill junior engineers and operators in machine-specific maintenance techniques. Liaise with headquarters and local vendors for technical and supply-related coordination. Initiate and implement new projects to improve productivity, safety, and sustainability. Drive corporate maintenance initiatives at the plant level. Ensure compliance with IATF/ISO, SPS, EMS, OHSAS, 5S, and TPM standards. Key Skills & Competencies: Minimum 15 years of maintenance experience, preferably in metal cutting industries. Strong manpower management and team leadership skills. Cost-conscious mindset with exposure to energy management and LCA (Life Cycle Assessment). Expertise in spare parts & inventory management. Analytical and documentation skills in alignment with global standards. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities, projects, and timelines. Exposure to ESG initiatives related to maintenance operations. Desirable Traits: Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. High standard of discipline and organizational commitment.
