Job Description

A Senior IT Operational Analyst monitors, analyzes, and improves IT systems and processes, acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams. Key responsibilities include performing root cause analysis, leading troubleshooting efforts, implementing process improvements, and ensuring operational excellence through data-driven insights and collaboration with cross-functional teams. They are also responsible for defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

System monitoring and analysis:
Monitor operational systems, analyze performance data, and conduct root cause analysis for issues, outages, or inefficiencies.
Issue resolution:
Lead the effort to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Process improvement:
Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity and efficiency.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Partner with development, product management, QA, and other teams to guide system enhancements and ensure operational needs are met.
Stakeholder communication:
Act as a liaison to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and provide data-driven recommendations.
Project management:
Oversee multiple projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure they are executed on time and within budget.
Reporting and metrics:
Develop and refine operational metrics, KPIs, and reporting frameworks. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress.
Continuous improvement:
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and provide training to operational teams on new processes and tools.
