Role Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Master Data Management (MDM) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across the organization. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define data standards, manage data governance process, and maintain data hygiene.

Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities

Process

• Develop, implement, and maintain MDM processes and standards.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
• Monitor and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.

People

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance policies.
• Effectively communicate master data management framework to stakeholders and ensure compliance.

Initiatives

• Support data integration and migration projects.
• Maintain documentation related to data definitions, standards, and processes.

Key Deliverables

• Ensure data hygiene across data masters while enabling faster ticket resolution for new/ change requests raised in the system
• Maintain records of TAT achieved in closing the requests while maintaining documentary proofs
• Publish weekly summary of records for internal users showcasing compliance to norms
• Provide training to stakeholders on MDM activities and processes

Role Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in CS/IT/EE

Experience (Type & Nature)

• 4-5 years of experience working with SAP (preferably S/4HANA)
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the area of Master Data Management / Data Governance.
• Understanding of data management principles and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in the FMCG industry will be considered a strong advantage.

Skills & Technical Competencies

• Ability to comprehend and analyze documents pertaining to financial and taxation domains alongwith business critical information
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / analytical tools.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
