Position Title: Sr. Embedded Hardware Engineer – Full-Time

Electrify Services is one of the fastest-growing engineering service start-ups and is looking for a Sr. Embedded Hardware Engineer to play a key role in helping the company grow and take the business to the next level. Major Job Duties

Ø Responsible for designing embedded hardware products including architecture definition, detail design, and verification

Ø Work as a member (or lead) of a team on projects, integrating aspects of design work from other engineers (mechanical, electrical, and software) to complete design and development of new products

Ø Direct Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design resources in the documentation of the product by providing the necessary input for completion of specification sheets, part drawings, and assembly drawing

Ø Responsible for the leadership of department employees to include the overall direction, mentoring, and training if direct reports are assigned.

Ø Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, digital circuit design, and analog circuit design.

Ø Proficiency in using hardware design and simulation tools, such as Altium software and FPGA development tools.

Ø Proven success with end-to-end hardware development including schematic capture, layout, bring-up, testing, and debugging of high-density, high-speed PCBs

Ø Collaborate with other teams such as firmware, mechanical, and application for overall aspects of product design and development

Ø Design implementation considering EMI/EMC compliance criteria, environmental conditions

Ø Solid understanding of microprocessors, microcontrollers, and other embedded systems.

Ø Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and test plans.

Ø Troubleshooting and resolving hardware-related issues and providing technical support to internal teams.

Ø Strong communication and organizational skills to manage relationships with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.

We are looking for people who have

Ø 4+ years of experience in the field of Hardware Designing

Ø Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Ø Experience in Microcontroller, Microprocessor, and FPGA-based designs.

Ø Experience in high power circuit design such as BMS, DC-DC converter, Inverter

Ø Knowledge of protocols including RS232, RS485, SPI, USB, CAN, ZigBee, Wi-Fi, BLE

Ø Experience with RF, GPS, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SD Card, camera, LCD, PCI interface

Ø Experience in EMI/EMC designs both at the circuit level and layout level.

Ø Experience with circuit analysis and design, CAD schematic tools (Altium Preferred), circuit simulation tools, and design evaluation

Ø The system brings up in the lab requires HW, SW, and FW integration

Ø Ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts, both written and verbally

Ø Knowledge of communication systems, including architectural tradeoffs and partitioning impacts

Ø Experience with RF and microwave measurement systems would be a plus

Ø Team player with strong self-motivation and collaboration skills

Ø Ability to use standard lab equipment such as oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer

Ø Ability to lead the team

Ø Analytical skills in resolving technical issues with product failures

Ø Experience with hardware debugging tools and equipment

Location: Ahmedabad, India.

Salary: Depending on Experience and Past achievements.
