Role Summary Tirex Chargers seeks an experienced and well-networked professional to lead business development and tender participation efforts for EV chargers and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in the government and PSU sectors. The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of experience in handling government projects, securing PSU contracts, managing tendering processes, and driving large-scale infrastructure business through strategic engagement with public sector stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Government & PSU Business Development · Identify and pursue business opportunities across central/state government departments, PSUs, DISCOMs, and Smart City missions. · Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, nodal officers, and technical committees. Tender & Bid Management · Track, evaluate, and respond to tenders (EVCI, BESS, Solar-Integrated Systems, etc.) from Central and State agencies. · Coordinate bid submissions end-to-end, including documentation, pricing strategy, partner alignment, and pre-bid & post-bid clarifications. Strategic Alliances & Partnerships · Engage with EPC players, consultants, system integrators, and consortium partners to enhance Tirex’s eligibility and competitiveness in large tenders. · Represent Tirex in joint venture and MoU discussions with PSUs and state nodal agencies. Policy Advocacy & Representation · Participate in government forums, industry associations and policy roundtables to represent Tirex’s viewpoints. · Influence EV and energy storage policy directions through strategic inputs and industry collaboration. Project Handover & Execution Support · Ensure alignment with internal project execution teams post-award of contracts. · Support in compliance, contract negotiation, and resolution of commercial/technical queries with government clients. Desired Candidate Profile · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Public Policy. MBA/PGDM preferred. · 8–12 years of experience in government/PSU business development, tendering, and project acquisition in infrastructure or cleantech sectors (preferably EV, power, or renewable energy). · Strong network across relevant ministries, PSU procurement departments, and implementing agencies. · Proven ability to independently manage high-value bids and government-facing business proposals. · Strong understanding of public procurement norms, bid compliance, and project financing in government projects. · Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
