Job Description

As a Senior Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to generate sales for yourself and your team members. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive brand image, fostering strong client relationships, and supporting various business functions as needed. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing sales targets for different services, nurturing client accounts to increase their lifetime value, market sensing to provide insights on business strategies, developing new business connections, and collaborating with marketing and lead generation teams to execute campaigns effectively. You will also leverage partner networks and affiliates to generate SQL and sales, participate in lead generation activities, and represent the company at exhibitions and trade events to generate prospects. In this role, you will be expected to manage relationships with current clients, coordinate with other department heads to ensure customer satisfaction, generate proposals/contracts, and comply with the company's sales processes and documentation standards. Keeping the CRM system updated, managing relationships with platform managers, and overseeing team productivity and target achievement may also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, at least 3 years of experience in selling Shopify-based solutions, and a background in IT sales and business development. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, Sales Navigator, and multitasking abilities are essential. Moreover, you should be able to prioritize tasks, present ideas effectively, and demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills. It would be advantageous if you have a collaborative mindset, can thrive under pressure, excel in creating credibility, maintain professionalism and confidentiality, build relationships effectively, and maximize your impact with time management.
