Role Summary

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business for PU Painting services by identifying OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 manufacturers, and industrial clients requiring high-quality surface finishing. The role involves client acquisition, quotation preparation, coordination with production teams, and driving repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

● Identify and acquire new customers requiring PU Painting, Acrylic Painting, and industrial surface finishing

● Target and acquire OEMs and manufacturers in automotive, toys, consumer goods, electrical, furniture, industrial components etc.

● Generate leads, conduct follow-ups, schedule visits, and convert opportunities into orders.

● Develop long-term relationships with purchase, quality, and production teams of clients

Technical & Commercial Coordination

● Understand customer requirements related to shade, finish, masking, thickness, quality standards, and volumes

● Coordinate with the production and quality teams for feasibility, costing, and sample development

● Provide accurate quotations, negotiate pricing, and maintain margins.

● Support trials, approvals, and first-sample submissions

Order Conversion & Execution Support

● Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms

● Assist in order finalization, rate approvals, and annual contracts

● Coordinate order execution schedules and resolve customer issues

● Ensure timely feedback collection and repeat order generation

Market Intelligence & Reporting

● Track competitor pricing, capabilities, and market trends in PU painting

● Maintain MIS reports for leads, samples, approvals, and conversions

● Submit weekly and monthly reports, maintain CRM/Google Sheets, and ensure documentation accuracy.

● Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

● Graduate in Business, Engineering, or a relevant technical field

Experience

● Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B industrial services sales, preferably PU painting, powder coating, liquid painting, or surface finishing

● Hands-on exposure to dealing with OEM purchasing and quality teams

Skills

● Strong understanding of PU painting processes and commercial costing

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills

● Ability to understand technical product specifications and application processes.

● Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for quotations and MIS

● Willingness to travel for client meetings and plant visits

● Self-driven, target-oriented, and ready to travel.
