Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage all aspects of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) within the organization
This individual will serve as the primary point of accountability for the strategic direction, operational execution, and continuous enhancement of our business continuity and resilience frameworks
Reporting directly to the Director of the Center of Excellence, the candidate will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure BCMS and BIA processes are robust, compliant, and aligned with business priorities
The role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to drive initiatives that strengthen organizational preparedness and response
This is a high-impact individual contributor role with management-level visibility and responsibility
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards
Own and manage the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process, ensuring timely updates, stakeholder engagement, and actionable insights to support resilience planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity strategies are integrated into operational and strategic planning
Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements related to business continuity and ensure organizational adherence
Facilitate training, awareness, and exercises to strengthen organizational preparedness and response capabilities
Provide expert guidance and report to senior leadership on business continuity risks, readiness, and improvement opportunities
Support audits, assessments, and reviews related to BCMS and BIA, ensuring documentation and evidence are accurate and complete
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Provide after-hours and weekend support where required
Partner closely with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) team to ensure alignment between business continuity and information security practices
Serve as a backup for key ISMS activities, providing support and continuity in their absence or during peak operational periods
Contribute to integrated risk management initiatives by identifying interdependencies between BCMS and ISMS processes
Support cross-functional projects that enhance organizational resilience, including risk assessments, and compliance initiatives
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business continuity and information security and proactively recommend improvements
Education
Bachelor s degree in relevant stream
Certifications
ISO 22301 :

Experience
Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in continuity management and physical security
Desired Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Experience with building, maintaining, and testing Business Continuity plans
Experience with performing business impact analysis and developing recovery time objectives
Experience with crisis and/or incident management
Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
Experience with ISO 27001 implementation
Skills
Security procedures and best practices
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across multiple levels and functions
Able to work independently as well as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
Industry standard certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), Associate Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) are desired
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PCP) preferred
